How to Walk on Water

Magical-Realistic Feature Film | in Development | to be shot in México

ILSE (13) is invited to her friends' lavish villa on the Mexican coast while her father VICTOR (45) is drowning in debt trying to keep his small business afloat. After learning her classmates can walk on water, she accidentally discovers the uncomfortable truth behind this magical ability and is forced to find out if she – unlike her parents – can also walk on water.

We are developing the feature film together with writer-director Sofía Ayala who is studying at the renowned German Film & TV Academy Berlin (dffb). Her short film RETURNING SOUTH has won several awards at international film festivals such as the Special Mention in Guanajuato.
