Ilse spends a summer weekend at a friend’s oceanfront villa on the Mexican coast, while her father VÃctor remains in the capital, trying to keep his business afloat and avoid bankruptcy. When Ilse discovers that her wealthy classmates can inexplicably walk on water – a magical ability with a dark secret – she must find out where she truly belongs.
