Carousel Film is an independent production company founded in 2022 in Potsdam-Babelsberg. The company is led by Vincent Edusei and Maritza Grass.

We develop and produce feature films with a focus on international co-productions and series that we realize with larger partners.

Our projects are the result of trustful collaboration. We value a bold cinematic film language and tell stories that cultivate diverse perspectives in front of and behind the camera. We strive to continuously break down barriers for BIPOC, FLINTA*, LGBTQIA+ and parents.

Carousel films and series are centered around characters who navigate between worlds, cultures, views and realities. With a mission to redefine prevailing narratives, we want to expand traditional images of thinking, creating new spaces in a constantly faster spinning world that shape us beyond the film experience.

Carousel Film is a member of the German Producers Association (Produzent*innenverband e.V.) and is supported by the STARTBÜRO Babelsberg initiative by Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg (MBB), Business Promotion Bank of Brandenburg (ILB) and Film University Babelsberg KONRAD WOLF.
